Planning to take a job in the Gulf?

For quite some time now, many skilled professionals have relocated overseas and found employment in numerous Gulf job sectors.  The United Arab Emirates (UAE) are witnessing numerous Gulf job opportunities in several key sectors in the following areas:

- Abu Dhabi
- Ajman
- Dubai
- Fujairah
- Ras al-Khaimah
- Sharjah
- Umm al-Quwain

As it stands right now, Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the employment hot spots of the Middle East and there are no immediate indications that this will change.

The capital city of the UAE is Abu Dhabi, which is responsible for creating 60% of the entire UAEs GDP.  There are numerous high-paying job opportunities available in a variety of the Abu Dhabi career sectors.  The best opportunities seem to be originating from the banking and finance; construction, education, engineering, healthcare, IT and telecommunications, management, media, oil and natural gas, real estate, and tourism industries.

Dubai, on the other hand is thriving as a result of their tourism sector.  Despite this, there are a number of financially rewarding jobs available in the same sectors as those listed for Abu Dhabi.  However, the real estate and tourism industries are growing at a rapid rate.  Regardless of the differences between the two cities, these should be your primary targets for your job searches.

Make sure that you have a CV or resume and a cover letter ready to e-mail to those companies you are interested in applying to.  Additionally, it is a good idea to first apply to those larger companies that have been in business longer than others.
