Jobs in the Gulf
Jobs in the Gulf areas of the Middle East are in high demand today. Fortunately, they are in plentiful supply but there are a few things that need to be considered if you are searching for jobs in UAE (United Arab Emirates).
The key areas to consider are Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Dubai although there are several other cities that also offer some career opportunities. If you search online at some of the major job posting sites, you will no doubt discover that the job market is just as good in the Middle East as they are in a variety of other countries.
If you are qualified, there are some key industries to consider. In addition to the three cities mentioned above, look at:
- Umm al-Quwain
- Qatar
- Sharjah
- Ras al-Khaimah
- Fujairah
- Ajman
Specific career sectors that are flourishing include; banking and finance, education, IT and Telecommunications, Real Estate, and the Tourism industries. However, healthcare management, and the media are offering career possibilities as well if you are suitably qualified.
You will need to look carefully through the major job search sites and start applying for jobs in the Middle East for which you are qualified. In some instances, you are going to be directed to an employment recruiter who is handling the hiring process for that particular company. Just make sure that they do not charge you a fee for recruiting you. The best approach is to apply to those larger companies who have displayed great operational expertise and have been in business for several years.
